The government strongly condemned these strikes, including one attack on a girls’ school that resulted in more than 100 civilian deaths.

The statement also mentioned attacks on hospitals and oil facilities that caused widespread damage.

According to Government of Maldives, these attacks have increased tensions across the Gulf region.

The statement warned that continued violence could make peace in the Middle East much more difficult to achieve.

The government also urged the international community to increase diplomatic efforts to restore peace, stability and security in the region.
